Urban ICT Arena coordinates the needs of the public sector with the abilities of the business community, to find new digital solutions for the sustainable cities of the future.

Vårt uppdrag är bland annat att utveckla och marknadsföra innovationssystemet i Kista Science City tillsammans med företag, universitet, forskningsinstitut, offentlig sektor och omgivande samhälle på nationell och internationell nivå. I Kista Science City finns det en rad utbildningsinstitutioner, bland annat två universitet. Stockholms universitet har lokaliserat Institutionen för data- och systemvetenskap till Kista, med närmare 5100 studenter.

Här finns mycket support för teknikutveckling med KTH och många andra teknikbolag som vi har synergier med. Kista är dessutom ett modernt teknikcentrum under uppbyggnad – det händer mycket här.
